Words from Tony Robbins on Own...

Hi blog family!
I like to give credit when do AND if someone else can say something to save or change your life........I let them speak and share what they say!
Tony Robbins is a brilliant man who gets "how to live and enjoy life".... I got this from Oprah's own, (forgive me O) lol... but good stuff must be shared!!! enjoy!!

The life coach and host of Breakthrough with Tony Robbins believes in living a passionate life, a life in which fear is a counselor, not a jailer. Here, he shows us how to "step up" during our most intimidating moments:
1. Don't Turn an Excuse into an Identity
We need be careful of how we label ourselves, for example, saying "I'm an fearful person" or "I'm a weak person" or "I'm not a strong person." Usually that label comes from your current or past behavior, but once the label becomes a part of you, it starts to control you. So what I try to get people to understand is: Hey, you're not broken. You don't need to be fixed. You don't need a label. All you need to do is say, "I have to decide how I want to be now going forward."

2. Develop a Habit
Courage is not the absence of fear. That idea is the biggest b.s. in the world. Fear is impossible to eradicate. If you were completely fearless, you'd be dead. People who are courageous are scared to the core—they just make themselves go forward anyway; they make themselves take some kind of action. Taking action, even though you're afraid, is how you become courageous—because courage, like fear, is a habit. The more you do it, the more you do it, and this habit—of stepping up, of taking action—more than anything else, will move you in a different direction.

3. Let Your Body Lead the Way
Taking that action for the first time can be pretty rough. When it comes time to give the speech to the committee or snowboard down the mountain, don't hesitate. Don't start to analyze it. The longer you stand there, the harder it gets, because then your mind gets involved. If your challenge is mental, use your body. If it's in the body, use your body more aggressively. At 17 years old, I was on my own, sleeping in a laundry room. I had no idea what to do. I was so depressed. Fear is physically debilitating. I had to defeat it. So I made myself run until I thought I was going to spit up blood. I got stronger in my body, which, in turn gave me mental strength.

Life after a siblings death.

Hi blog family!

July 22nd my brother would have been 43...Hard to think he is not here!
How do I go on after losing a sibling and only close family member left?
By helping others!
If Rob was here, he would want me to be helping others who were in foster care.

He would want me to not think about my problems, but how to help others with a problem.
Sometimes death can bring out the carring in you.
I always thought of others but now since my brother has died, my mission is clear and priority!
If you lost a sibling you grew up with-through death or because they were adopted off- make something good out of it:

Start a scholorship fund in there name
volenteer at a shelter
organize a suitcase drive for group home kids
open your home for the holiday to kids who transitioned out of foster care

Do something to make a difference in someone elses life- and your pain will lessen!

Each day is better because I know my brother is now my guardian angel and anything I want in THIS life, he will help guide me toward it!!

Death is not the end, unless you stop spreading their message of love sharing and caring!! My brother's body is no longer with us but his spirit will live on forever through scholorships and the work I plan to do to help foster kids!

Happy?

Hi blog family! hope you are at school and read this later....

are you happy? Do you really know what that is??

Happiness is: knowing you are ok today, with or without parents...

Smiling, even when things don't look like they are going right, if you have happiness, you know eventually good times will pick up!
Happiness is helping others in need, because you are content with yourself and your life, you want to help others in need..
Happiness is you knowing your future goals, having written them down, dreaming and seeing them come true everyday, you know your future is bright, so how could you not be happy, since you made a plan...
Happiness is the feeling you get when you wake up in the morning and open your eyes to sunlight or a noisy roomate, because you know, you was given another day, another chance at a new life!
Happiness is appreciating and loving yourself SO much, that you share with others, even when your mind says you want it for yourself...sharing is caring, caring is happiness...that you release on others..

Are you happy?
You can be now, just start from this moment on knowing you are great and with purpose.
xo Tanya
ps. smile, someone is watching you, (like the younger kids in the group home),
be a good example to them....
you are loved and blessed to be alive, smile!!
I want you to go to the library and get the book: the alchemist by Pablo Quelo

Processing information ie....talking

Hi Blog family!

I hope you got up today thanking your maker for another beautiful day, remember each day you are alive, breathing and able to walk, talk and or think....is a great day, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!
I wanted to tell you sometimes if I talk about things that make you sad or mad i want you to talk about it with your therapist, social worker, teacher, friend or counselor!
FIGHTING IS NEVER AN OPTION!!
 Because why you say??
 4 reasons!!
YOU ARE NOT an animal, (REMEMBER:they can't talk and have to mark there territory or defend themselves by proving they are the strongest="fighting")
YOU are human, and you can talk about how you feel!!!!
You were created to use your mind!!!
You are brilliant!!!
Sometimes talking about things like today can bring back memories that may or may not be good and I want you to learn at your young age, how to: "process" information.
This means that you "talk" about whatever it is that has happend today or yesterday, that effected your life.
Don't feel bad if you reacted in the past by NOT talking about things and keeping them inside.
I don't want you to do that because it creates anger, hate, hurt, revenge seeking or just plain bad feelings!
You are too young to be wanting revenge or hating anyone!
YOur life should be having fun and learning to be a great person that knows how to talk to ALL people, (we don't do prejudice of any kind, it's worthless, mean and we don't want to be like hitler do we?)
It is NOT good to hold in anything that makes you mad....ANYTHING!!
You always have the option to talk to someone.
I think God made friends and the universe brings you friends so that if you don't like your therapist, counselor or teacher, you have someone else to talk to.
I know, most people have their mom or dad or siblings but we usually don't have them easily available if were in a group home OR they are "dysfunctional", (meaning they are not mentally able to help you right now because they are not able to make good decisions).
Find someone who has GOOD, clear logic--they can make good decisions and you know because they are living a good, healthy life, that you would like to have one day!

You are always loved and highly favored. Smile and be kind to EVERYONE, (yes, even the jerk), you are going to save, change or help a life today!!! Go gettem!!!
XO Tanya
